Short version: ClipStack does not collect, read, or transmit your clipboard content. Everything you copy stays on your device (and optionally in your private iCloud). We use RevenueCat solely to manage your subscription — it never sees your clips.
ClipStack is an independently developed iOS app. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy mean the individual developer reachable at taufiqur.developer@gmail.com.
We collect as little as possible. Here is the full picture:

We do not collect: your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, browsing history, or any other data beyond what is listed above.
If you have iCloud enabled, ClipStack uses Apple's CloudKit private database to sync your clips across your own devices. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account under your Apple ID — we have no technical ability to read it. Apple's iCloud security and encryption policies apply. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → iCloud → ClipStack.
ClipStack uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. When you purchase or restore a Pro subscription, RevenueCat receives:
RevenueCat does not receive any of your clipboard content, tags, or personal data beyond the above. All payment processing is handled by Apple — RevenueCat only receives receipt data that Apple provides. For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
ClipStack's Smart Clip features (auto-categorisation, summaries, "Ask Your Clips" search, and translation) use the FoundationModels framework on iOS 26+. All AI processing runs entirely on your device — your clipboard content is never sent to any server for these features. These features require a device that supports Apple Intelligence and will not activate on unsupported devices.
ClipStack reads your device clipboard only when:
On iOS 16+, the system shows a banner notification whenever an app reads the clipboard. ClipStack never reads the clipboard silently in the background.
ClipStack includes a Share Sheet extension, a custom keyboard extension, and a Home Screen widget. These extensions share access to your locally stored clips via a private iOS App Group container — the data does not leave your device through this mechanism. The same privacy guarantees apply to the extensions as to the main app.
ClipStack is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Your clips are stored until you delete them within the app, or until you delete the app from your device. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. If iCloud sync is enabled, you can delete iCloud data from iOS Settings → your Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage → ClipStack. RevenueCat anonymised purchase data is retained per their own data retention policy.
Because we do not collect personal data beyond an anonymous subscription identifier, there is typically nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on our end. The only third-party service ClipStack integrates with is RevenueCat (see Section 4). We do not integrate advertising networks, analytics SDKs, social SDKs, or tracking frameworks of any kind.
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. If the changes are material, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
