Short version: Use ClipStack fairly and legally. Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Your clipboard content belongs entirely to you. We're not liable for data loss — keep independent backups of anything critical.
By downloading, installing, or using the ClipStack app (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and do not use it. These Terms apply to all versions of the App including the Share Sheet extension, custom keyboard extension, and Home Screen widgets.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

ClipStack offers a free tier and an optional "Pro" upgrade. Pro is available as:
All payments are processed by Apple. By subscribing, you also agree to Apple's Media Services Terms.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID account will be charged within 24 hours of the start of the next period.
Free trials: If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
Cancellation: You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Refunds: All refund requests must be directed to Apple. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified in advance of any price increase as required by Apple's policies.
The free version allows you to save a limited number of clips (currently 20). Pro unlocks unlimited clips, iCloud sync across your devices, additional app icons, data export, Smart Clip features powered by Apple Intelligence, and clip templates. We may adjust features and limits over time; any reduction in Pro features will be communicated in advance.
You retain full ownership of all content you copy, save, or store in ClipStack. We claim no rights over your clips. You are solely responsible for ensuring the content you store complies with applicable laws and does not infringe third-party rights. We do not monitor, review, or have access to your clipboard content (see our Privacy Policy).
Smart Clip features use Apple Intelligence, which runs entirely on your device. These features are provided on a best-efforts basis. AI-generated outputs (categories, summaries, translations) may be inaccurate — do not rely on them for critical decisions. Smart features require a compatible device and iOS version; they are not available on all hardware.
iCloud sync is a Pro feature that uses Apple's CloudKit private database to sync your clips across your personal devices. We do not have access to your iCloud data. Your use of iCloud is also governed by Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to terminate your license if you violate these Terms.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses. We do not guarantee that saved clips will never be lost.
Important: ClipStack is not intended as your sole or primary storage for critical information. Please maintain independent backups of any content you cannot afford to lose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer of ClipStack be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages whatsoever — including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill — arising from or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. In such cases, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the ClipStack developer from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the App.
ClipStack integrates with RevenueCat for subscription management. Your use of RevenueCat's services is subject to RevenueCat's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.
These Terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms automatically terminate without notice if you fail to comply with any provision. Upon termination you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies. Sections 5, 9, 10, and 11 survive termination.
We may release updates, patches, or new versions of the App from time to time. You are encouraged to keep the App up to date. We reserve the right to discontinue the App or any feature at any time.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice or App Store release notes where practicable. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
